Flowers and chocolates may sound like a sweet Valentine's gift but how about something different for that someone special in your life?
There are plenty of things you can do that won't break the bank this Valentine's Day -- ways you can be being romantic on a budget.
Posing for the perfect picture for the man in your life could be the way to his heart. At Posh Portraits in Strongsville they'll take tasteful shots of you.
"We just stick to what they want to do. What their husbands like, what their boyfriends like. I've had lots of women who have written to me and said that it just boosted the intimacy level at home. It changed things, which is great," says owner and photographer Sarah Kraus.
A one-hour session includes a couple of outfit changes. You can pick from dozens of shoes and accessories. Later you can look through 50 proofs and take home six of your favorite photos. The little black personal photo book is not included.
The cost of this intimate gift about $100 dollars.
If sexy photos aren't your thing how about a hair cut and close shave.
Pamper your guy with a cut and razor shave at Dylan's Barber Shop in downtown Cleveland where they also take care of Browns and Cavs players. You can also get a mini-man facial with it.
"I think it's great way to say I love you and then come right back to your lady at the end of the night," says master barber and owner of Dylan's Barber salon J.T.
It's a February special. A cut and shave runs about $35.
You can always sizzle things up together in the kitchen. Mike Miller at Mr. Mom's Meal Planning will come to your house and teach you and your honey how to cook or you can just sit back and let him make your meal. He calls it champagne taste on a beer budget. A recipe for fun.
"The woman likes to sit back, have a couple of glasses of wine, watch her man cook, learn a few things. It's a lot of fun," explains Mike Miller.
If you provide most of the food it cost about $100 bucks. The deal runs through March.
Dancing also makes for the perfect date. A ballroom dance lesson together or you can buy a session for your significant other. At Latin Soul Ballroom in Middleburg Heights they have all the moves to make cupid crazy and it's also great exercise.
"Dancing brings them to the center where they connect with each other. They find something mutually that they both are doing. They both are thinking they both are actually participating in it," says instructor and owner Heriberto Perez.
"It makes you more comfortable with yourself and if your more comfortable with yourself your more willing to share yourself," explains dance student Nilam Patel.

Say I love you with a few songs. Surprise that special someone with songs from the Barbershop Harmony. Their vocals will make your Valentine melt.
"We've had a lot of them cry just break out in tears because they think it's such a good thing," says Donald Flock.
A singing Valentine also comes with a rose and a card. The tunes will start at $40.
Whatever you decide to get this Valentine's Day just remember it's about one thing, showing that special someone a little something special.
