Prentiss native and current Utah Jazz center Al Jefferson returned home during the NBA All-Star break to help tornado victims in Hattiesburg.
Jefferson stopped in with families to lend a helping hand in the cleanup process.
"It took my breath away. I'm still kind of amazed to see all the damage done. If I could just help someone get through this then it would make me feel better. It would let me feel like I did my part. I am grateful for that," stated Jefferson.
