Shooting victim not talking

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson police say a shooting victim is not cooperating with their investigation.

About 5:30 Sunday evening officers received a call that a person was shot on Queen Ann Lane in west Jackson.

The injured person was taken to Central Mississippi Medical Center in a private vehicle.

Officers surrounded a home in the 200 block of Queen Ann Lane, searched for clues and talked with neighbors.

A JPD spokeswoman says the victim is not talking with detectives and the incident remains under investigation.

No other details have been released at this time.
