In response to accurately identifying potentially hazardous pipes found in hospitals and laboratories, Graphic Products, Inc. has released its Medical Pipe Marking Guide.

This two-page guide encompasses both National Fire Prevention Association 99 (NFPA) and Compressed Gas Association (CGA) standard color marking for compressed gas containers, pipelines and valves. Medical pipe markers help identify pipes containing substances such helium, nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide. Aiding maintenance workers are a range of label colors, text and arrows to indicate the directional flow of these gases.
