Hinds Co. meth bust largest in 7 months

A chilly but beautiful "hump day" Wednesday afternoon in the metro. I'm Howard Ballou with a look at some of the stories you will see on WLBT.

Two suspects have been arrested by the Hinds County Sheriff's Office in the largest meth bust by the agency in more than seven months.

Also, a group of ministers, black and white, in the south Jackson community gathered at the home of an elderly white woman murdered by a black teenager, to express their outrage and push to have it classified as a hate crime.

Plus, The White House announced First Lady Michelle Obama will visit Clinton next week on her national tour to highlight healthy school lunches across the country.

In sports, Brandon native and NFL linebacker Demario Davis returns to Mississippi to visit schools.

Clear skies and 54 degrees in the metro. Get your full First Alert Forecast.
