Ridgeland Police arrest suspect in Jackson after chase

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Ridgeland Police have arrested a man after chasing him into a South Jackson neighborhood. Police say the man is wanted for aggravated assault and fled a traffic stop.

Officers called off the pursuit when they reached a residential neighborhood, but found the vehicle abandoned in the driveway of a house on Willaneel drive. That's in south Jackson, off Raymond Road.

The man was arrested at the house where the car was abandoned.
