Jackson Police laid out the drugs, weapons and money this morning they confiscated in a weekend drug bust.

Police raided a home in the Presidential Hills neighborhood where drugs and thousands of dollars were seized. Jackson police officer Colendula Green told WLBT that police and narcotics agents made the bust around 2 A.M. at 6562 Lyndon B. Johnson Drive.

Police arrested a 39 year-old man named Tony Lewis. Lewis was in possession of more than 350 grams of crack cocaine, along with a desert eagle handgun, an assault rifle and a reported stolen flare launcher.

Lewis was charged with two counts of possession of cocaine with intent to sale and one count of possession of a firearm. More than $15,000 was also seized.

Another drug bust took place at a gas station located at 1220 Terry Road. When police showed up, Quentin Marcel Smith, Corey Smith and Jeremie Torrey were loitering at the gas station.

Upon further investigation, 400 grams of marijuana, packaged for sale, plus just over $1,300 and a 2001 Chevrolet Suburban were seized from the men. The Smith's and Torrey were all charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sale.
