Crash backs up traffic on I-20

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Traffic was backed up for more than a mile Saturday afternoon on I-20 after a one car accident.

It happened just inside the Jackson city limits and before the Highway 18 exit in the eastbound lane.

A silver car left the roadway and went into the woods. It doesn't appear the two people inside were injured.

Traffic was backed up for more than an hour to Raymond-Clinton Road in Clinton.

JPD is investigating the crash.
