JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Winning another state title for the Lanier girls basketball team will mean more than just a gold ball.

The Lady Bulldogs are playing this postseason for teammate Morgan Catchings.

Lanier is without Catchings for the 5A final four because she was diagnosed with Leukemia before the start of the playoffs.

Now, the Lady Bulldogs play for her.
