Hundreds donate hair for Great Lengths

Barbie Bassett and her two daughters donated 8 inches of hair each.

CLINTON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

More than 420 people participated in this year's Great Lengths Campaign. One participant even donated more than 32 inches of hair.

The hair will be turned into human hair wigs, which will be available to cancer patients at St. Dominic Hospital's Diva Den.

WLBT's own Barbie Bassett and her two daughters donated 8 inches each.

The event was held at the Mississippi Institute of Aesthetics, Nails and Cosmetology in Clinton.
