An investigation is underway to find the cause of an accident that briefly shut down I-20 traffic Tuesday morning. The accident involved an 18-wheeler and happened shortly after 9 in the west bound lane near the Highway 18 exit.
The driver of the big rig ran off the road, knocked down a pole and slammed into trees.
Authorities had to shut down traffic to get the truck out of the woods. The driver received minor scratches.
