Jackson police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing woman.

Officer Colendula Green says Sherry Sue Sledge, 52, was last seen Feb. 28 in the area of St. Dominic Hospital.

Sledge's purse was found in a trash can with her ID and cell phone, according to Green.

If you have any information on Sledge's whereabouts, call Jackson police at 601-960-1234.
