The Biggest Loser Run/Walk returns to Jackson in April

JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

The Biggest Loser Run/Walk returns to Jackson April 6, and will feature a Premier Destination Half Marathon, a 5K Race and a Kids' Race.

Mississippi natives Patrick House, who won the season 10 competition, and Gina McDonald who is competing in season 14, will be running and walking along with participants.

House, who has been actively battling obesity in Mississippi, and beyond, was guest on the Season 14 premier and was accompanied by Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant. House will participate in the 13.1 mile half marathon.

McDonald, who is on her weight loss journey this season, will tackle the 5K.

The Biggest Loser Run/Walk was also in Jackson in November for a "Get Fit, Get Ready" race.
