Jackson police have released the identity of a man arrested during a drug bust at a Jackson hotel Wednesday night.

Danerius Allison, 26, is charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.

According to officers the Jackson Police Department's Vice and Narcotics Unit received a tip that a man was selling drugs out of a room at America's Best Inn on Highway 80.

Officers obtained a search warrant and seized $800 in cash and 400 grams of marijuana.
