Madison woman accused of abusing infant

MADISON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A Madison woman accused of injuring an infant has been arrested on a child abuse charge.

Madison police say Lisa M. Adams, 38, was arrested Thursday on one count of aggravated child abuse.

The charge is the result of an ongoing investigation into a non-life-threatening injury to a 6-month-old child, according to Madison police.

Adams' was released on $25,000 bond.
