Philadelphia Police confirm an arrest has been made in a March fire. The suspect has been charged with arson and murder.

Philadelphia Police Chief Bill Cox says that Daniel Williamson, 53, is charged with arson and murder. The charges stem from a March 2 fire in Philadelphia on Lot 3 at 100 Sistrunk Avenue.

Williamson appeared before a judge Wednesday where bond was denied on the murder charge, and a $50,000 bond was set on the arson charge. Williamson remains in the Neshoba County Jail.

Chief Cox will hold a press conference at 9:30 a.m. Monday with more details, including the identity of the person killed in the fire and the autopsy results.
