Traffic stop yields 700 grams of synthetic marijuana

WOODVILLE, MS (WAFB) -

Agents said a traffic stop turned into a drug bust when many packets of synthetic marijuana were found in the vehicle Monday night.

The Wilkinson County Sheriff's Office said Jarvis Romanz, 29, of Jackson, MS was arrested on multiple charges.

The sheriff's office task force seized 700 grams of synthetic marijuana, cash and a scale to weigh the drugs.

Investigators reported the vehicle was pulled over on US 61 north of Woodville for a traffic violation and the drugs were discovered inside.

Romanz was booked into the county jail on the following charges:

Possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Improper equipment

Driving while license suspended
