Vicksburg Mayor settles sexual harassment lawsuit

It's a beautiful, cool, sunny Tuesday afternoon in the Jackson metro area and I'm Howard Ballou with a look at some of the news stories you will see on WLBT.

A sexual harassment lawsuit against the city of Vicksburg and Mayor Paul Winfield has been settled. A court filing says the settlement was reached Monday after a hearing in U.S. District Court in Natchez.  

A Fuel Time gas station owner says his son and wife were robbed as they were taking the store's deposit to the bank this afternoon

Also, funeral services for former Hinds County EOC Director Larry Fisher brought numerous fire engines and community members to Daniel Memorial Baptist Church this morning.

And, a Raymond man is accused of using social media to post threatening messages against Jackson State University President Carolyn Meyers.
