Vicksburg mayor undergoes stress tests

Winfield says he was to undergo a series of stress tests Thursday at River Region Medical Center.

VICKSBURG, MS (AP) - Vicksburg Mayor Paul Winfield was undergoing tests at a local hospital Thursday after becoming ill a day earlier.

Winfield told the Vicksburg Post that he went to the hospital Wednesday because he "wasn't feeling well." Winfield says he was to undergo a series of stress tests Thursday at River Region Medical Center.

He says he hopes to be released Thursday.
