WARREN COUNTY, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
A Warren County teenager was shot in the head early Saturday and now the hunt is underway for the gunman.
Sheriff Martin Pace said the unidentified 17-year-old was shot once in the head while in the 4900 block of Gibson Road around midnight.
According to investigators, the victim and another teenager teen exchanged words with people inside a black truck when the shot was fired.
The 17-year-old was taken to River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg then transported to University Medical Center.
At last check he was in serious condition.
Law officers are searching for a late model black truck with more than two African American males.
