The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that injured two people early Saturday morning.
The wreck happened around 4:00 a.m. on I-20 Westbound, just before the Bolton exit in Hinds County. Officials working the scene said the driver of a white car lost control, hit a tree and flipped into a creek.
There was extensive damage to the car. The two injured in the wreck were taken to a local hospital.
