After a masked gunman entered a Texaco Gas Station in Morton and demanded cash, police distributed the surveillance video for help in identifying the robber.

According to a Morton Police Department incident report, officers were called to 2581 Hwy 13 south to a convenience store for a reported armed robbery just before 1 a.m. Sunday. The officers spoke with the store clerk who informed them that a black male wearing an orange and white striped jacket entered the store and pulled out a gun.

The victim went on to describe to police that the robber wore a black face mask and "gave [her] 10 seconds to give him the money." As the employee loaded the masked man's bag full of cash, she pushed the "hold-up alarm" button.

The police report states that once the robber took the money, he ran outside and got into a small, dark colored vehicle and drove toward the interstate. No suspects have been named in the robbery.
