Vicksburg Mayor Paul Winfield is out of jail on bond with a trial date set on a federal bribery charge.

Also, the prosecution rested, this afternoon, in the capital murder trial of an ex-convict accused of killing his former girlfriend in south Jackson.

Plus, after a masked gunman entered a Texaco Gas Station in Morton and demanded cash, police distributed the surveillance video for help in identifying the robber.

And, Hal White, co-owner of the iconic downtown Jackson restaurant Hal and Mal's, has died at the age of 64.
