JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Carlos White and Jeffery Wilson have pled guilty to multiple counts in connection with a November 3, 2010 attack on a Belhaven College student.

White and Wilson pled guilty to Armed Robbery, Armed Carjacking and Kidnapping. The two approached a Belhaven student as she was getting into her vehicle. The student was held and gunpoint while her belongings were taken.

She was then forced into and vehicle and forced to drive a distance before successfully escaping her captors.

In Addition, Wilson, who was 16 when these crimes were committed, also pled guilty to a separate indictment for Armed Robbery, Armed Carjacking, and Kidnapping for his crimes committed against a Jackson State University student on October 30, 2010.

"In a county rich with institutions of higher learning, we are committed and determined to seek justice and provide a safe community that is conducive to a great learning experience for college students," said District Attorney Robert Shuler Smith.
