BYRAM, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Byram Police say the three men arrested Thursday for robbing the Copiah Bank are the same group that robbed a Jackson bank April 18.

Commander David Errington says the men wore fake hair with dreadlocks, just like last week's robbers.

Errington says they found those disguises and will send them off for DNA testing, and that the vehicle recovered, a black Buick LaSabre, matches the one used in the Jackson robbery.

Dave Thomas, 52, Invester Williams, 37, and Richard Porter, 34, appeared in court Friday morning and had their bond set at $350,000 each. They could face additional charges in Jackson.

Police say three men walked into the Copiah Bank at 5754 Terry Rd. in Byram shortly after noon Thursday and handed a note to a teller. The note reportedly said "this is a robbery" and demanded large bills. No weapon was displayed. An undisclosed amount of money was given to the suspects.

The Jackson bank robbery on April 18 was at the Regions Bank in the 2700 block of North State Street. The suspects were described as a 6'2" black male with dreadlocks and a 5'6" black male also with dreadlocks. JPD says the men could've been wearing costume attire.

This isn't the first time this Copiah Bank location has been robbed. In August 2011, several bank employees were held at gunpoint by three masked men. Three Jackson men were eventually arrested and charged in the robbery.
