Kidnapper? - - Jackson, MS

Happy Friday morning to you from MSNewsNow's Brandon Artiles!

I sound like a broken record, but we're in store for another rainy day. It's 65 degrees currently and the big question that meteorologist Paul Williams will answer in his First Alert Forecast is, "will this round of rain bring the potential for severe conditions?"

Happening now, a 54 year old former Kemper County teacher sits in a jail cell this morning.  She is charged with kidnapping 6 year old Jashayla Hopson earlier this week from an elementary school in Kemper County.

Plus, a giant fire followed an explosion in Louisiana.  Jewell Hillery will join us with live reports about what caused the situation and if anyone was hurt.

And, it's "Your Turn" to weigh-in on a domed-stadium for Jackson State University with general manager Dan Modisett.

Last but not least Julie Levanway is joining us live in studio to whip us up something Fresh From the Flame.

All those stories and much more are headed your way at the top of the hour.

Please join us from 5 to 7 and for more Mississippi News Now we've got you covered on Fox 40 from 7 to 9.

Have a great Friday and a better weekend!
