Lumumba Wins Runoff For Jackson Mayor

Good evening this is Maggie Wade with some of the stories you'll see tonight at 10 on WLBT.

Controversial Jackson City Council Member Chokwe Lumumba has won the Democratic Primary Runoff against Jonathan Lee for Jackson Mayor. We'll have team coverage of tonight's runoff elections around the state!

We will also have the latest from the runoff for Canton Mayor between Incumbent, Dr. William Truly and Arnel Bolden. Bolden has been leading in the race tonight!

Mississippians know the devastation of tornadoes and severe weather. Volunteers and organizations in the State are preparing to roll up their sleeves to help victims in Oklahoma. Mike McDaniels will have details.
