(WMC-TV) - A man wearing a rather unusual hat earned the nickname "Teddy Bear Bandit" by the FBI after he reportedly opened fired in a bank and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Armed with a pistol, he physically assaulted one of the tellers with his gun. The "Teddy Bear Bandit" also fired several gunshots into a wall of the bank. No one was hurt as a result of the gunfire. He successfully fled the scene with cash.
The FBI describes the suspect a male with a skinny build in his twenties to early thirties. He wore a black long-sleeved jacket with an unknown design on the back and white stripes around the cuffs of the jacket at the time of the robbery.
The "teddy bear hat" was described as a light brown fur hat with furry ears and a tail.
