Supporters Roll Out The Red Carpet

Good evening this is Maggie Wade with some of the stories we'll have tonight at 10 on WLBT!

It has not been all smooth sailing for the widow of civil rights leader, Medgar Evers, but tonight supporters, celebrities, and nationally known leaders help Myrlie Evers-Williams walk the red carpet for a gala in her late husband's memory.

New at ten.. Linda Gale Reed who is charged with three counts of embezzlement is scheduled for arraignment this week. We'll have the latest on the case.

Also new at ten.. Two of the women charged in the kidnapping of a 6 year old Kemper County girl hear from a judge. One gets bond, the other is sent back to jail.
