Several Fourth of July events and fireworks shows are planned in the metro area this week.

  • Ridgeland: Celebrate America Balloon Glow is from 6-10 p.m. at Northpark Mall
  • Madison: 9 p.m. at Liberty Park
  • Richland and Jackson: Empire Truck Sales firework show at 9 p.m.
  • Vicksburg: Live music starts at 7 p.m. and will be followed by fireworks, which will be shot behind the Old Levee Depot Museum.
