Judge Kidd issues permanent injunction against Open Carry Law

Hinds County Circuit Judge Winston Kidd has issued a permanent injunction keeping the Open Carry Law from going into effect.

Also, a car burglary suspect was shot and killed after the homeowner reportedly discovered the 20-year-old man breaking into the homeowner's vehicle.

And, an 83-year-old man was taken to Central Mississippi Medical Center with minor smoke inhalation after a  house fire on Waycone Drive in south Jackson.
