Capitol St. project to create two-way traffic

Barricades are in place along Capitol Street from Congress to Gallatin Streets in preparation for work to begin reversing Capitol Street from one-way to two-way traffic.

An attorney wants a judge to delay the Aug. 19 trial of former Mendenhall Mississippi police chief Bruce Barlow.

Plus, Hinds County Board of Supervisors president, Robert Graham says the county can't foot the bill for a primary election for District 2 and 4 seats and Graham says the county doesn't have to.
