East Cleveland search parties, rally planned in wake of triple murder

EAST CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

300 men are being urged to come out and help with search parties in East Cleveland on Wednesday afternoon.

This, after the bodies of three women were found in the vicinity of Shaw and Hayden Avenues last Friday and Saturday.

Victims Shirellda Terry, 18, Angela Deskins, 38, and Shetisha Sheeley, 28, have all been positively identified by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner.

Suspect Michael Madison, 35, has been charged with kidnapping and aggravated murder and is being held on a $6M bond.

The triple murder has stirred a community to action. Shortly after the case came to light, community activists held rallies and began searching abandoned homes for more bodies.

At 2 p.m. Wednesday, the rally for search parties will get underway at the corner of Shaw and Hayden. At 5 p.m., a Stop the Violence Against Women rally is scheduled, also at the corner of Shaw and Hayden in East Cleveland.
