Video game addiction increases with behavior problems

Boys with autism or attention disorders may be at risk for problematic video game use.

Researchers at the University of Missouri surveyed parents of 141 boys about the time they spent playing video games.

Those with autism spectrum disorders spent about an hour more per day playing video games than their peers. And boys with autism and those with ADHD were at greater risk for developing video game addictions.
