PEARL, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

A woman is behind bars in Rankin County accused of kidnapping her daughter.

Alanna Walden, 32, mother was arrested Monday night and charged with custodial kidnapping.

According to Lt. Butch Townsend of the Pearl Pearl Police Department, shortly before 5 p.m. Monday afternoon Pearl police investigators located Walden and her 5-year-old child in Kemper County.

Walden was taken into custody, without incident, and was returned to Pearl for booking and then transported to the Rankin County Jail.

The child was in good condition and has also been returned to her dad in Pearl. Walden will appear in court Tuesday.

Police say Walden picked up her daughter on July 17 from the child's father's residence in Pearl for visitation, which was part of the court's custodial orders. The father has full custody of the child.

Walden didn't bring the child back to her father, Erik Seales, as scheduled on July 21, according to police. Walden then reportedly informed Seales that she wasn't going to return the 5-year-old.

An arrest warrant was issued for Walden
