The foods you crave when you're stressed are just making your bad mood worse, research out of Harvard reveals.
Several groups of health experts have come together to cut down on unnecessary medical tests and procedures. They estimate wasteful procedures contribute to 20-percent of health care costs in the U-S.
A few of the latest recommendations include advising doctors against ordering chest radiographs for children with asthma, which can lead to the overuse of antibiotics due to false positives.
They also recommend against treating reflux in infants with proton pump inhibitors. The latest studies show the treatment is not effective in babies, and could cause side effects.
These recommendations are from the American Board of Internal Medicine Foundation and the Society of Hospital Medicine, and are published in the Journal of Hospital Medicine.
