Gunman's grudge

Good Tuesday morning from MSNewsNow's Brandon Artiles!

The day is starting off at 71 degrees and while we're still hanging on to the memory of last weekend's great weather meteorologist Michael Haynes will tell us how long we'll have to wait for another cool down. He will have all the details in his First Alert Forecast.

Happening now, federal investigators are at the Washington D.C. Navy Yard where more than a dozen people were shot and killed Monday. We'll take you to the scene live this morning as agents are getting more clues on the gunman's grudge.

Plus, the Ole Miss student attacked in Austin, Texas, following the Rebels win over the Longhorns on Saturday is still being treated at a hospital.  Injuries were severe enough to require brain surgery and we'll bring you the latest on his condition in the AM Report.

And, former Vicksburg mayor Paul Winfield pleads guilty to bribery charges, so how much time will he get? We'll let you know when that shoe will drop.

All those stories and much more are headed your way at the top of the hour.

Please join us from 5 to 7 and for more Mississippi News Now you can find us on Fox 40 from 7 to 9.

Have a great Tuesday!
