2nd suspect arrested in credit union robbery

A cloudy Monday afternoon in the Jackson metro area. I'm Howard Ballou with a look at some of the news stories you will see on WLBT.

A second arrest has been made in last week's robbery of a Ridgeland credit union. Police say he's the boyfriend of the employee who was already charged in the crime.

Plus, Jemery Hodges has been sentenced to 23 years, two months in Federal prison for sexually assaulting a five-year-old girl and making a video of the attack.

And, the search for the second suspect in a Lawrence County home invasion that left a man dead is over. Lawrence County Sheriff officials have arrested 34 year old Michael Alford of Brookhaven.
