Tri-County won their 2nd straight state title last season thanks in large part to sophomore transfer Ryan Cothern. The junior running back, is back this season and is putting up some of the best numbers in the state.
Cothern has 896 rushing yards and 10 TD's through 6 games. He's the workhorse on a Rebel offense that averages close to 26 points a game.
Two weeks ago Tri-County had their 31-game win streak snapped by Leake Academy. That makes Friday's game against district rival Canton Academy very important when it comes to deciding playoff spots.
