"Bert Case Day"

Today is "Bert Case Day" in Hinds County

Plus, an undercover drug operation in Vicksburg ended with 14 people behind bars. The sting started back in July after complaints of drug activity in different parts of the city.

Also, the 7-year-old child who fell from the Skyride at the Mississippi State Fair is in serious condition while Fair Commission and Department of Agriculture officials investigate.

In sports, not a winning weekend for the big three universities and the coaches discuss what went wrong and what's next.

Clear skies and 73 degrees in the metro. See your full First Alert Forecast.

Of course, you will see any breaking news first on WLBT and you can follow us on Facebook, Twitter and www.msnewsnow.com.
