Drowning deaths

Good Wednesday morning from MSNewsNow's Brandon Artiles!

It's 55 degrees and that warming trend Michael was talking about yesterday starts today. It won't be summer-hot by the afternoon, but you can expect things to be warmer and meteorologist Michael Haynes will tell us all about it in his First Alert Forecast.

Happening now, investigators in Jackson and down on the coast are examining separate drowning deaths. One involving a man found at the bottom of a south Jackson resident's swimming pool and the other involving a Pass Christian man who had been missing.

Plus, hundreds of Ole Miss students, including some football players, attended a mandatory lesson on equality after being accused of using homophobic slurs during a play last week.  We'll let you know if the students or players are facing any more consequences this morning.

And, more on that situation in New York last week in which a group of bikers is accused of harassing and assaulting a man in an SUV, with his wife and two-year-old inside. Police now have more video than what went viral last week.

Those stories and much more are at the top of the hour.

Please join us from 5 to 7 and for more Mississippi News Now we'll be there for you on Fox 40 from 7 to 9.

Have a great "hump day"!
