JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Two men have been arrested in the murder of a gas station owner Sunday. Thirty-one year old Robert Simpson and 29-year-old Detrich Harris have been charged with capital murder in the death of 62-year-old Harsharan Bajaj. He owned ANP Gas on Medgar Evers for 40 years.

Detectives are looking for a third person for questioning. He's described as a black male known as "Mitch" or "George", and police think he lives in the Summit Drive area.

On Sunday night around 8, according to a store employee, the power went out in the store. Bajaj went around to the back of the store to check the meter.

Seconds later, the victim was shoved to the ground with a gun in his face by a man wearing a black mask, white T-shirt and black jeans.

During this attempted robbery, the man fired two shots striking the victim in the abdomen and the chest. He later died in surgery at a local hospital.
