Nevada community mourning loss of math teacher, former marine

Good Tuesday morning from MSNewsNow's Brandon Artiles!

A little bit warmer than yesterday morning as we get things going at 57 degrees today. However, our first frost of the season may be on the way.  Meteorologist Michael Haynes will get into that in his First Alert Forecast.

Happening now, a community in Nevada is mourning the tragic loss of a beloved math teacher after a school shooting Monday. Coming up on the WLBT AM Report we'll bring you the latest on this story including the conditions of two students also shot, and where investigators say the shooter got his gun.

Plus, police in the Capital City are investigating a string of armed robberies in which assault rifle wielding robbers target Hispanic victims.

And, a metro area man will spend the rest of his life in prison for the murder of Lenora Edhegard in Rankin County last year.

Those stories and much more are headed your way at the top of the hour.

Please join us from 5 to 7 and for more Mississippi News Now we've got it from 7 to 9 on Fox 40.

Please make us a part of your day and ave a great Tuesday!
