Governor issues executive order restoring 10 hospitals to BCBS Network

Clear and cool in the Jackson metro area this Tuesday afternoon. I'm Howard Ballou with a look at some of the news stories you will see on WLBT.

Governor Phil Bryant has issued an executive order to temporarily reinstate 10 Mississippi Hospitals to the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Network. The order requires the reinstatement for about 60 days, until an investigation can be done.

Plus, a man sentenced to 50 years for rape and kidnapping has been mistakenly released from the Pike County jail.

And, convicted sex offender Edward Sullivan, who faces more than 70 years behind bars, remains in jail with no bond. This comes after Sullivan waived his preliminary hearing today in Rankin County.
