Storm could pose biggest Halloween scare

Good Thursday morning and happy Halloween from MSNewsNow's Brandon Artiles!

The biggest scare this Halloween may come from our forecast as we brace for potential severe weather in Mississippi. Meteorologist Michael Haynes is tracking the storm and he will have a preview of when things could be at its worst in his First Alert Forecast.

Meanwhile, if you have any concerns about trick-or-treating in your neighborhood or any other Halloween events Jewell Hillery will join us live with an update on what events have been canceled or re-scheduled. You can also keep an eye on the status of events on our MSNewsNow Halloween page.

Happening now, we'll have an update the three children shot in a south Jackson drive-by Tuesday night. We'll check on their condition and if the police are any closer to bringing the gunman to justice.

And, they're still celebrating in "Beantown" as the Boston Red Sox beat the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series.  We'll bring you highlights from Game 6 in the AM Report.

Please join us from 5 to 7 and for more Mississippi News Now you can find it on Fox 40 from 7 to 9.

Have a great Halloween and Friday eve!
