Pretrial conference set for former JPD officer

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -

A pretrial conference has been set for a former Jackson Police Department narcotics officer charged with bribery.

On November 22, Tony Davis will have to decide whether he'll plead guilty in the trial.

Davis was indicted on October 3, for trying to bribe another officer related to city transactions.

Davis is free on a $10,00 unsecured bond.
