LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Churchill Downs opened the doors of its newest venture, Club 140, on Saturday.

It moved the classic "Downs After Dark" event indoors.  Louisville country music and 'The Voice' star Olivia Henken graced the stage to help kick things off.  Family, fans, and friends came to support her in her first performance since returning home.

"They've been with me from Facebook to twitter to Instagram," she said.0 " They've just all been behind me and have brought me up from some times when I've really needed some support out there."

Churchill Production Manager Brent Roger's said, "It's a great opportunity for people to get dressed up, come out, be seen, in a cool venue."  Spectators agree.

Partygoer Michael Klemowski added, "This is definitely one of the best clubs I've been to in Louisville."

Wave 3's Kevin Harned served as master of ceremony for a derby-inspired fashion show, proving it does not have to be the month of May for Louisvillians to sport their festive headwear.
