JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) – A suspect was arrested Saturday morning after a shooting at En'Vision in Jonesboro left one person dead.

Jonesboro Police Sgt. Doug Formon said the shooting happened sometime before 2 a.m. Saturday outside the nightclub.

Xavier White, 22, was killed after an argument escalated. According to Formon, there was an argument in the parking lot between two people, but it was diffused. A short time later, several gun shots were fired at White. White was transported to the hospital where he later died.

The suspect, identified by police as Timothy Joe Fields, 33, of Fayetteville turned himself in later Saturday morning. Sgt. Doug Formon with Jonesboro Police said the investigation is ongoing. No one else was injured in the shooting.

Fields is being held at the Craighead County Detention Center on a $500,000 temp bond for first degree murder.
