JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson investigators are working to find out if a pair of weekend vehicle fires are related.

The first happened around 8p.m. Saturday night at 1024 Voorhees Street in Jackson.

Jackson Fire Department Chief Investigator Greg Travis said the vehicle was deliberately set on fire.

The home the vehicle was in front of was occupied at the time.

 No injuries were reported.

The second fire happened at 1326 Collier Avenue after 3a.m. Sunday morning.

Three vehicles were found burned at this location.

Travis said there was a shooting at the same home early Saturday morning.
