Former Mississippi State Police Chief Georgia Lindley after her DUI arrest

STARKVILLE, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Mississippi State University's campus police chief is on administrative leave, after being charged with DUE.

Georgia Lindley was arrested Thursday night.

A release from the university said Lindley was put on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of an unspecified investigation in Starkville.

Authorities have also been looking into claims that Lindley left the scene of an accident in November.
